Blackboard is a teaching management system that allows educators to present course materials electronically, communicate with their students and create course activities in electronic environment. Blackboard enables users to access course content wherever they are in the world with a username and password from any computer they have internet access and web browser. Since it is an encrypted system, it allows users to view only the contents of the courses they are enrolled in. Blackboard allows you to provide multiple content formats (text, images, sound, animation, graphics, etc.) that enable students to find material based on their preferred learning styles. Blackboard provides a space to provide information about courses, assignments, and exams in multiple places. The curriculum should include a list of Course Objectives / Objectives. Repeating these goals / objectives in homework or content areas will guide the student through a learning path.
